Granite Park Place has recently partnered with JLS Moving Solutions for our move coordinating needs. This will streamline the move process for residents making it less stressful and more convenient for everyone. Please take a moment to read through the step-by-step process taken from the move procedures below:
- Moves should be planned 7 days in advance.
- Move-in/move-outs conducted between 8AM – 5PM, Mon-Sat.
- No moving on Sundays.
- Move times are reserved in four (4) hour increments from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- All moves will be handled by vendor JLS. Interested owners should visit https://jlsmovingsolutions.com/move-inquiry/ or call JLS Moving Solutions Los Angeles – 310.948.5696
From beginning to end, this is the process:
- The resident fills out a “Move scheduling request form” on the website: https://jlsmovingsolutions.com/move-inquiry/
- JLS Admin receives the move scheduling request and contacts the resident to clarify details and answer any questions.
- Once the move details are confirmed by the admin, a JLS Move Coordinator will be assigned to the move.
- JLS Admin will generate an electronic invoice and send it to the resident’s email. (Invoice payment is due the night before)
- The Move Coordinator will contact the resident two days prior to their moving date to introduce themselves and provide their contact information.
- The morning of the move, the Move Coordinator assigned for the move will contact the resident to confirm the estimated time of arrival for the movers.
- Once the Move Coordinator arrives at the property, they will connect with the resident by meeting them or if the resident is not available by letting them know that they have arrived. (If a check for security deposit is required by the property, The Move Coordinator will collect the deposit check from the resident before the move starts).
- The Move Coordinator will set up the elevator padding, post moving signage, and create their pre-move report with pictures and videos to show all pre-existing damage.
- Once the movers arrive at the property, The Move Coordinator will direct them to the loading area and guide them to the residents unit inside the building.
- During the move, The Move Coordinator will either stand and monitor the access point or shadow the movers depending on management request.
- The Move Coordinator will be on-site the whole duration of the move to assist with any questions and offer problem solving. The Move Coordinator will not leave the property until the move is fully finished.
- Once the move is finished, the Move Coordinator will produce the post-move report and sign off with the resident via their signature.
- After the post-move report has been finished, a copy is automatically sent to the management team for review and documentation.
- The Move Coordinator will break down elevator padding, collect move signage, return all keys/fobs/garage clickers to their designated areas and secure all doors.
- If there is no damage the damage deposit will be returned to the resident at this time.

Meetings of the Board of Directors are open to all homeowners. The best way for homeowners to attend is to join the meeting via Zoom from the comfort of your own home. There will be someone onsite in the clubroom but they will only have a speaker phone available so you can listen to the meeting. Attending via Zoom allows you to view the Board members and other attendees. The Board would like everyone to use an abundance of caution and restrict their attendance at public gatherings.

The first Friday of every month, you are cordially invited to an informal happy hour reception, usually held in the library at 5:30. This is a congenial occasion where you can meet your fellow residents and catch up on what’s going on in the neighborhood. Make sure you give your email address to Steven, our Concierge, so you will get all the updates on theme or location. Feel free to bring a snack or beverage to share.
